Sequence of updates on US AA aluminum
alloys is completed by adding mechanical properties
for fin stock, unmounted foil, extruded tube,
heat exchanger tubes, drawing stock and wire.
New sets of French (NF) specifications for copper
alloys for casting and wrought alloys are added,
and harmonized with European standards.
Completely new family of alloys is introduced
to the Database for the first time: magnesium alloys
specified by Australian (AS) standards.

Completely new group of magnesium alloys specified by ISO standards are included to the Database.
New set of French (NF) copper alloys defined by recent standard specifications are added, and harmonized with European standards.
Sequence of upgrades for US AA aluminum alloys is also continued, comprising mechanical properties for sheet, plate, drawn tube, rolled ring, flat plate, and die forgings.
Moreover, to provide you results of new developments and upgrades made on the Database Web Edition in the last 3 month in offline media as well, new version of Key to Metals CD Edition --2003.11-- is released.

Major upgrade on US AA aluminium alloys started this month by updating mechanical properties for extruded tubes, wires, rods, bars and profiles.
European (EN) aluminium alloys are updated by inserting information on drawn wire, forgings, and wrought forging stock.
Moreover, completely new group of nickel alloys specified by ISO standards is included to Key to Metals Database, with chemical compositions and mechanical properties.

Aluminium alloys specified by Euronorm standards are upgraded with new information on master alloys, aluminium alloyed ingots for remelting and aluminium alloy aerospace series.
New groups of specifications are again introduced, now copper alloys specified by Australian AS and US AWS standards, with their chemical compositions and mechanical properties.

Major upgrade on European (Euronorm) aluminium alloys started by adding mechanical properties of wrought aluminium alloys according to new standardspecifications.
New sets of cross-reference tables for aluminium alloys, relating materials specified by EN, NF and BS standards are also added to the Database.
Moreover, two completely new groups of specifications are introduced: titanium alloys specified by US ASME, and tungsten according to British (BS) standards.
To reflect developments and new upgrades made in the last 3 months, new version of Key to Metals CD Edition --2003.8-- is released.

Another new group of alloys specified according to British Standards have been included for the first time to the Key to Metals Database -- cobalt alloys, with their compositions and mechanical properties.
Out of new groups of specifications, nickel alloys specified in Australian (AS) standards, with their compositions and mechanical properties, are introduced.
Completely new set of British aluminium alloys (L-series) is also added to the Database.

Completely new groups of cobalt and tungsten alloys specified in US ASME standards are introduced to the Database.
Cobalt alloys, specified in European (EN) standardspecifications, with their compositions and mechanical properties, have also been added.
And, to finalize this phase of upgrade of cobalt alloys, new sets of cross-reference tables are added to the Database.

The Database upgrade was focused mainly on tungsten and tungsten alloys. Three completely new groups of tungsten alloys, defined according to US ASTM, US AWS, and European EN standards, are added, together with their chemical compositions and mechanical properties.
