Chinese GB aluminum alloys are again upgraded by adding properties of die casting aluminum alloys, wrought treated sheets, extruded profiles and tubes, aluminum-titanium alloy wires, and aluminum-tin alloys for bearings.
ASTM updates according to the new 2007 standards collections included reactive and refractory alloys in various product forms: niobium, tantalum and niobium-hafnium.

Chinese magnesium and zinc alloys are added to the Database for the first time. Upgrade includes magnesium alloy castings and ingots for castings, wrought magnesium alloys, extruded rods and profiles, and zinc castings, plates and sheets.
Japanese nickel alloys are updated with recent specs for plates, sheets and strips, bars, corrosion and heat resisting superalloy and seamless nickel-chromium-iron alloy pipes.

Another new upgrade is made on Chinese metals: copper alloys are added to the Database for the first time. Upgrade will include copper, brass and bronze wires, sheets, strips, tubes, and castings.

Another completely new feature is launched in June: searchable tables of standards. In its beta version it starts with several most prominent Standard Development Organizations (SDOs), and is available FREE of charge for all subscribers to the Web Edtion.
In the next several months this new functionality will include all SDOs from the Database, chronology of issuing standards, direct connection to the materials defined, and more.
Chinese GB nickel alloys are added to the Database for the first time. Properties cover products in the form of sheets, strips, wire, wrought products, bars, and tubes.

US AMS titanium alloys are updated with specifications ranging from simple sheet, strip, plate, bars, rods and wire, to special applications such as damage-tolerant grade plates, extra low interstitial annealed products and powdered metal products.
Upgrade of Chinese aluminum alloys is continued with corrugated sheets, seamless tubes, wrought alloys, wires for riveting and welding purpose, foil, rod, extruded profiles and more.

Chinese aluminum alloys according to recent GB/T specifications are inserted into the Database for the first time.
Specifications added include unalloyed aluminum ingots, electrical aluminum ingots, casting aluminum alloys, and various aluminum alloy wires, sheets and strips.
Update on Indian nickel alloys includes primary nickel and nickel powder and a range of nickel rods, bars, and castings.
Moreover, cross-reference tables for nickel alloys are enlarged with equivalents among the US ASME, ASTM and UNS, Japanese, German, Euronorm and ISO-defined alloys.
